This is the first in a series of weekly e-mail updates related to this tournament. With an unwavering focus on the students, this tournament offers a great chance for the up and coming members of your dojo to gain valuable experience, build relationships with other students of Isshinryu, and develop their confidence in their abilities. This tournament is a unique opportunity for students to compete in an Isshinryu-only event. This is a valuable chance for kyu level students compete on a level playing field without having to deal with the flash, fluff, and non-traditional styles that often dominate open tournaments. With less than two weeks remaining at the initial price point of $30 for two events, this tournament represents a great value as well. Having a tournament to prepare for also creates an added value in the focus and preparation that goes into competing, something every student needs in their study of Isshinryu.
